Anyone can learn to draw! Learn how in this new introductory course offered during the daytime hours.
Observe the elements of design, and investigate line, shape, form, space, and value. With each exercise, build your skills to complete a final composition of a still life in graphite pencil. Each class session will include instruction, demonstration, presentations of master drawings, and teacher led studio time. Course #DRW106.221.01
What you will need for the course:
- Small sketchbook, 5.5” x 8.5”
- Strathmore 300 Series Drawing Pad, 9” x 12” (glue bound)
- Set of 6 Staedtler Lumograph Drawing Pencils
- Kneaded Eraser Tortillion (medium blending stump)
Supplies are available through many online and retail outlets including Dick Blick, Amazon, or Michael’s. Specific brands are suggestions only.
Note: Designed for students age 16 and above – no drawing experience necessary. For safety, enrollment is limited and masks are required.
