Please join instructor, Lindsay Luker, for a yoga class at Water Street Studios. This fall, she will be releasing a book about mudras, ancient yoga hand gestures. 

This very special one day yoga class will incorporate several mudras along with intentional breathwork, peaceful movement, and sweet rest.

Lisa Marie Trunkenbolz, book illustrator, will also be present in class. 

This class will be a blissful way to relax on the weekend and also admire the current art installation at Water Street Studios.

This class will be held in the beautiful Water Street Studios Main Gallery area. Please bring your yoga mat, wear comfy clothes, and be ready to relax.

(Lindsay and Lisa will also hold a book release event on a separate day, 12/03/2022, at Water Street Studios. Please stay tuned for more information!)

Relaxing Yoga, Sound Healing & Sketch Workshop for 16+(Main Gallery)

Join us at WSS for the perfect relaxing Sunday afternoon relaxing yoga session!

Bring your friends and family and recharge in this tranquil relaxing yoga workshop. Listen to the gongs, crystal bowls, relax and restore yourself and sketch and journal some fresh ideas to inform your artwork. This workshop is perfect for beginners.

Immerse yourself in the healing sounds of three Paiste gongs tuned to the planets Uranus, Jupiter, and the Moon. Uranus to balance emotions and hormones. Jupiter to open and nourish the heart center and the Moon to awaken intuition and connection to divinity. You will also be bathed in the tones of the Chinese Temple Wind Gong which helps activate spiritual wisdom and promotes grounding. Based on ancient wisdom, the gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. The gong balances the central nervous system and aids in deep meditation. Tibetan and Singing Crystal Bowls will be added to raise the vibration.

If you feel like it is sketching or journaling ideas can happen during the workshop & we will have some time after to sketch & journal.

Bring:

  • Your journal, or artist sketchbook & your favorite pens or pencils. 
  • Bring your yoga mat & wear comfy clothes. 

This relaxing class will be held in the beautiful Water Street Studios Main Gallery area.
